Começaram hoje as filmagens da versão feminina de Os Caça-Fantasmas, e com elas vieram as primeiras fotos do set. Nelas vemos as atrizes Kristen Wiig (Missão Madrinha de Casamento), Melissa McCarthy (A Espiã que Sabia de Menos) e Kate McKinnon (da série Saturday Night Live).

O elenco também conta com Leslie Jones (da série Saturday Night Live) e Chris Hemsworth (Vingadores – Era de Ultron). Paul Feig (A Espiã que Sabia de Menos) dirige e escreve o roteiro ao lado de Katie Dipold (As Bem-Armadas). Ivan Reitman, diretor o longa original, é um dos produtores do novo filme.
O filme estreia em 21 de julho de 2016.
